What is Seshana?

Seshana is scheduling and operations software for outdoor lesson schools. Instructors, the calendar, customer bookings, waivers, equipment, and location weather live in one place — instead of a spreadsheet, a group text, and a gym tool that does not know what wind is.

Who is it for?

Kite schools, sailing programs, climbing gyms that also go outside, mountain bike coaches, lesson barns, and fishing guides. Solo instructors through larger schools. If you sell lessons in the weather, this is the product. If you sell salon appointments, it is not.

How is this different from Calendly, Mindbody, or Square?

Those tools assume the appointment happens indoors at a fixed time. Outdoor schools cancel for wind, assign boats or horses or bikes to a session, send waivers before anyone shows, and often teach at more than one beach, harbor, or trail. Seshana is built around that. It will not replace a full gym membership POS or a yacht-club billing system.

Does it handle weather, waivers, equipment, and a booking widget?

Yes. Weather, tides, and wind can sit on each location with thresholds you set. Waiver templates go out with bookings. Gear checks out against the lesson. The widget embeds on your site for live availability. You do not have to turn every piece on.

What does it cost?

Plans start at $19 per month for a solo instructor and go up with team size. During beta the plans are free and founding rates can lock in. See the pricing page for the current numbers. No surprise per-booking tax.

How do I try it?

Create an account from the sign-up page, or open a live demo for kiteboarding, sailing, rock climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, or fishing. Demos are sandbox schools — they are not the marketing pages, and they are not your data.

Do you have an aviation product too?

Yes. Civil Air Patrol squadrons and flight operations use a separate aviation mode with flights, cadets, and aircraft — not outdoor lesson language. That lives under /aviation. This FAQ is for outdoor schools.
